Kirsty Scott

Kirsty Scott is the Senior Business Engagement Manager at The Scotland 5G Centre, since July 2022. Kirsty’s career is marked by a legacy of business development, strategy, and investment aimed at business growth, and she is passionate about creating value by enabling people and businesses to realize their full potential.

She possesses a specialist range of knowledge from 14 years in Computer Games Development in Dundee, with a background in STEM skills, as well as in-depth project management experience, successfully delivering Tay Cities Deal pipeline projects.  

She previously worked with the Economic Development team in Angus, holds a first-class Business Degree from Robert Gordon University, a Postgrad in Digital Transformation from Strathclyde University and focused on engaging with business stakeholders to identify support for entering new and existing markets in key sectors through digital disruption.

In her current role at The Centre, she collaborates with public and private industries to raise awareness of 5G applications through R&D testing and helping SMEs develop technology roadmaps through Advanced Wireless Communication emerging technologies. She is a member of the Tay Cities Digital Thematic Board and working in partnership with the Tay5G programme.

The Scotland 5G Centre, is the national centre for accelerating the deployment and adoption of 5G and provides expert advice, support and test facilities to enable the adoption of advanced wireless communication solutions.

The Centre with Scotland’s Local Authorities, Businesses and Public Sector, is to enable digital transformation, supporting the development of 5G enabled solutions, through access to expertise and 5G testbeds in Scotland.

The Centre have extensive expertise in network deployment (mobile and fixed) to support their clients on their digital journey.
