James Buchan

James is a digital tech entrepreneur who started his first business, Zudu, in Dundee, in 2014. Zudu now has offices in Dundee, Edinburgh and London, supporting organisations to develop cutting-edge digital tech. He has worked across a range of industries such as HealthTech, CleanTech, FinTech and Tech-for-Good initiatives, generating valuable impacts and forming digital transformation strategies. His latest tech venture, ePass, involves digitising licencing processes for Governments, and was a successful participant in the largest CivTech challenge to date. James also supports local growth organisations such as the Tayside Digital Ecosystem Group, supports charities in developing tech-for-good and works with Scottish Enterprise to educate businesses in digital strategy and tech.
